HOW THIS ROOM WORKS
The room
Write in sections. + Add a section adds whatever naturally comes next. Drag the grip ⠿ to reorder; duplicate repeats a chorus. The numbers in the margin count sung syllables, so a line that’s one too long shows it before you sing it. Prefer paper? ⋯ → Theme turns the lights on. ♩ Chords opens a row above every line: click above a word to place a chord, change the key and every chord transposes. The words
Click any word for rhymes and other ways to say it; hold a rhyme to keep it in Held Words. Nothing you cut is lost: deleted lines wait in the Badlands, and any line can keep alternatives.
The co-write
Share sends a link. Co-writers join with just a name, land on the split sheet, and see the lyric live. ● rec keeps a voice memo on a section. ✎ leaves a note on a line; a dot in the margin means the room said something — red until you’ve read it.
Spark
Spark is a character in the room, not a co-writer: it keeps no percentage and never writes your lines. ✦ on any line has Spark read it where it sits: three directions, a sketch each, and which it would try — or keep yours. The seat
Free is the room: write, read, rhymes and thesaurus, sung syllables, key and tempo and the click, Sing mode, and co-writing with anyone you invite, up to five songs. Pro is the catalogue: unlimited songs, Spark and the song read, memos in the cloud, versions, the registration pack and folders. Co-writers never need a seat.
The business
The split sheet is the agreement made in the room. The registration pack fills your society’s work-registration form from it. The pitch link is read-only and never shows splits; the pitch PDF is the same on paper. Sing mode puts the words up big for the mic.
The shelf
Hold a song to move it; drop it on another to make a folder. Earlier Spark threads are kept with each song.
CLOSE THE SESSION

The lyric is kept as it stands, the tape goes with it, and everyone in the room gets the record. Each writer then agrees to their own share, on their own phone.
